The Y.E.S. Technique
If you haven't read my first post, then you might not know about the "Y.E.S." technique. This technique is going to work for you, I guarentee it! If you can do this, you will lose the weight you've always wanted to. It worked for me, it's worked for my friends, and it is going to work for you!
Y.E.S. stands for You Envision Success
It means that you need to visualize yourself succeeding in your weight loss goal every time you think about it. This is especially needed when you are doubting yourself, and your program. You might think 'Is this ever going to work out for me?' or maybe, 'is it worth it?'. If these horrible, no good, disgusting, confidence killing, and putrid thoughts ever come to your head, I want you to IMMEDIATELY think of the results. Think of a healthy, confident, thin, and hot body. Think of those pants you'll be able to fit back into. Think of people you know looking at you and saying, "Wow, you REALLY look good!" It is going to happen if you can get rid of those thoughts. 'Is this ever going to work out for me?' YES! 'Is it worth it?' YES YES YES!!!
You really are going to be healthy. You are going to be thin. You are going to be able to fit into those old jeans. People are going to take a look at you and think, 'Wow that person is hot!'. Most importantly, you are going to look into the mirror and feel good about yourself. You're going to be able to get that confidence boost just by looking into the mirror. You're going to enjoy it, and people are going to look at you differently.
I remember meeting somebody and always worrying about what they thought of me. It would mess me up in social situations, and I became anxious anytime I was around people. I lost the extra weight, and this was gone. Losing the weight really changed my life, and it's going to change yours. You are going to be able to live your life without worrying about what people think about you.
Examining Your Accomplishments
While You're Envisioning Success, it's always good to look back on what you have already achieved. That could be that you've stuck to your routine, you've lost weight, you stopped eating a lot of bad foods, etc. When you do this, it makes sticking to your routine 10 times easier, because you know that if you stop now, it will all be for naught.
When I lost my first 5 pounds, I realised that if I didn't continue, those 5 pounds would just come back and I would be right back where I started. If I kept going though, I would keep losing weight and eventually meet my goals. Once you start climbing the ladder, keep climbing the ladder. The more you accomplish, the more motivated you are to keep going. Once you've lost 20 pounds, and you've been sticking to your routine, there's no possible way you'll be able to stop. You'll look into the mirror and see a whole new you. You'll know that if you stop now, all your hard work has gone down the drain. So keep going!!!
Inspiration From Others
Every so often I would go online and read weight loss success stories. It's just amazing to see people who accomplished what I was trying to do. I would read about their journey, how much weight they lost, how much happier they were, and how much they have changed, and I would want to exercise. I would go running, or biking, swimming, hiking, or something just to get moving. It really helped me to see what happens when you stick to your plan.
I remember one man I read about who lost almost 125 pounds. It took him a little over a year, but he finally made his goal. He started out swimming, because that was the easiest activity for him. He progressed to jogging, then biking, then running until he lost the weight. He said that the day he stepped on the scale and it said 175 pounds, he started sobbing because he felt so lucky to be able to lose the weight. He'd tried so many times before, but with no prevail. Even his friends and family told him it was near impossible. He proved everybody wrong, and last time I checked he's kept the weight off.
This was one of many stories that kept me going. I used them as fuel almost, reading one a day to stay motivated. It's amazing how one person's accomplishments can influence tons of people. A simple story can change millions of lives, and be a symbol for so much good. Read stories, and read them often.
Don't Let Anybody Bring You Down
People can the biggest inspiration, and the worst discouragement. When you have a goal you've set your mind to accomplish and you truly believe you can do it, never let anybody say you can't. These people are not looking out for the best of you. They might say that 'they're just being real', or 'they're just trying to help', but they are just being negative.
The truth is, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. I know you've heard this so many times before, but it is true. If you work hard for something, and you aspire to get it, you will get it. If you set your mind to losing weight, it will happen. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise! These people want to see you fail, so prove them wrong! I had friends like that, and I know just how toxic they can be. They ruin your goals, and halt any progress you're making. Do not listen to them! You are a strong person, and they're trying to push you off the path. DO NOT LET THEM.
You can do this! There is nothing stopping you. Start a program today. Don't wait any longer. Don't let your negative thoughts get in you way. Think about where you're gonna be in a few short months, and go! If you start now, you'll reach your goal quicker. If you wait, you're just allowing pessimistic thoughts to hinder any progress. You can do it. You can be thin. You can be healthy. You can be happy with yourself!

A Lack of Will and Heart By Fred Nicklaus
Have you ever wanted to be or do something very badly? You were passionate about it and often times saw yourself being or having the object of your desire. You thought about it and thought about it but in the end you never received the object of your attention.
All too often the best laid plans are laid to waste. It's not that the person doesn't know what he/she wants. It's that there is something missing. That something missing is often times a lack of will and heart.
If you truly want something badly enough you will find a way to make it happen. I was at one of my Karate schools. I was talking to a mom who said that she was very thankful for all of the things that her daughter has gotten from involvement in our Karate program. She told me that at times it's been hard for her to meet the financial obligations of paying for the martial arts lessons. In the next breath she told me that she would do whatever it took to keep her daughter in the program.
This mom went on to say that often times people say that they want something really badly but aren't willing to do what's necessary to get the job done. She was making a great point and she was really preaching to the choir.
Over the years I've seen many people say that they really have a love for and a desire to do the martial arts until they got to their Black Belt and beyond. As time goes on something happens. They've got the correct picture in their head as to what they want but they do not realize the effort, work, and sacrifice that goes into getting something that's so valuable.
It's easy to say that we want something. After we have decided on the prize that we are after we must then decide if we are willing to do what's necessary to make it happen. Those that are willing to decide on the prize and then make the sacrifice will do well. Those that can only think about the prize but shy away from the work are destined to forever miss out on the dreams that could truly fulfill their lives.
Go after what you want with passion and energy, Fred Nicklaus

The World is Shaped by Those Who Take Action On Good Ideas By Rick Osbourne
So you know a good idea when you see one, right? And Operation Pull Your Own Weight and naturally immunizing kids against obesity for life certainly qualifies as one of those good ideas whose time has come. Besides that you're sick and tired of reading about the billions being spent on research, and the experts portraying childhood obesity as complicated, confusing and expensive when everyone knows that solving the problem is as simple as motivating kids to eat better and exercise more.
You clearly understand that done right, OPYOW is...
- Easy to understand - Easy to implement - Easy to document - Extremely affordable for any school, park district, YMCA or Boys and Girls Club - Naturally immunizes kids against obesity for life - Improves life quality for millions of kids worldwide - Saves taxpayers many billions annually
OK, if all that's true my question is what are you ready to do about it now? Are you inspired to take action now? Here's a brief list of things YOU could do NOW. " Begin by initiating an OPYOW program in your own life and walking the walk.
- Introduce the idea to your own kids and encourage them to learn to PYOW - Read the OPYOW book in order to get a thorough understanding of its potential - Peruse the website for the same reasons - Talk to a member of the local school board and introduce the idea - Talk to a member of the local PTA and introduce the idea - Write an op-ed piece for the local newspaper - Gather of some of your local business associates and sponsor an OPYOW program in the local elementary schools who are interested in naturally immunizing their kids against obesity for life. - Continue brainstorming with others and easily add 100 more good ideas to this list
It's one thing to recognize a good idea when you see one. But it's an entirely different matter to recognize a good idea, and to become inspired enough to take action on it. The world is full of people who recognize good ideas while standing idly by WAITING FOR SOMEONE ELSE to take action, ownership, and responsibility for making it happen. On the other hand the world is defined by those who pick the ball up themselves and run it across the goal line, or block for the guy doing the running, etc.
People Who are Willing to Take Action NOW!
So the question is, since you see what OPYOW can do for millions of kids around the world, what role are you willing to play in helping to make it happen? If this note inspires you to take action then I am twice as strong as before you read it. And if you share it with your action oriented friends and colleagues we can multiply ourselves exponentially. And if we multiply ourselves exponentially we become a movement that is destined to eliminate childhood obesity in a decade or less. But it all depends on PEOPLE WHO ARE WILLING TO TAKE ACTION!
Rick Osbourne spent 17 years as a physical educator and coach. He currently serves as Executive Director of Operation Pull Your Own Weight, (http://www.pullyourownweight.net) an informational web site whose claim to fame is its ability to naturally immunize kids against obesity for life.
Osbourne is also a public speaker, and his book "Operation Pull Your Own Weight: A Radically Simple Solution to Childhood Obesity," (on Amazon) shows parents and educators how to motivate kids to eat better, exercise more, and how to naturally immunize their kids against obesity for life. Discipline and Motivation, Bears and Elephants, Oh My! by Kimberly Reddington
Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Well, we are going to talk about bears and elephants further down this article, but what has that got to do with discipline and motivation? You'll just have to keep reading to find out!
Have you ever wondered why some people are so good at self-discipline, motivation, persistence, determination, and consistency while others are not? Have you ever noticed that ALL successful people possess these traits? Where do they get this luck? It all comes down to desire. It is all related to how much they really want the success that will so easily come from these daily practices.
Where does desire come from?
Desire comes from deep down inside you. It is something you feel, you see, you hear, you taste and you smell. When successful people really want something to happen, they live and breathe that goal every moment. They use all five of their senses to make that goal come alive.
How does desire develop and grow within us?
We are governed by our emotions on a daily basis, or more accurately, we are governed by our emotions moment to moment. Have you ever seen someone's mood change in an instant? Something triggered that mood change. Something important to that person's subconscious mind triggered a certain emotion in that person's psyche, which in turn caused their mood to change.
Fear and Pleasure are the two most important emotions to control to gain success.
Why fear and pleasure? The two most common reasons why people DESIRE a certain outcome can be traced back to the emotions of fear or pleasure. Most of our actions are governed by these two emotions alone.
This is where the bears and elephants come in. They are related, I promise.
Have you ever seen a bear attack someone? Hopefully, you only have in the movies. Bears can be very gentle animals, but when they sense fear they will attack. If they sense that you are afraid, that makes the bear afraid, and the bear will attack as a form of protection. People are the same. We often let our fears take over and let them control us. We also let other people's fears control us. We often become afraid or put up our guard when we sense someone else doing the same.
But what happens when a baby bear cub sees a bush full of ripe soft blueberries? Well, all of sudden, those blueberries are going to be awfully important to that bear. Why? That bear must have experienced the PLEASURE of ripe blueberries before. How often do people gain weight because they eat too much? It is human nature for most of us to want the short-term pleasure of eating. People let that control them more than the fear of gaining weight.
Have you ever seen the excitement of a child when they found out they were going to ride on the back of an elephant? My children have had the privilege of enjoying this a few years ago. It was the most compelling attraction at the zoo. We waited in a long line, just so they could have their turn. They loved it and felt so elated! Their desire was governed by pleasure. What do you think would have happened if my children happened to see one of the other children fall off the elephant and get hurt badly while my children were standing in line waiting for their turn? I can guarantee that they would definitely be second-guessing their decision to ride on that elephant. They would think that maybe this isn't such a good idea. Why the sudden change in desire? Fear. What once was looking like a pleasurable experience now looks like a dangerous one. Whether my children stay in that line to ride the elephant or not will depend on what emotion they feel the strongest pull.
Which emotion is governing you?
Which emotion has the greater influence on you? Fear or pleasure? The next time you are lacking in motivation, discipline, or momentum sit down and think about what your fears are. Deep down inside you somewhere there are some fears that are holding you back. Is it the fear of failure, the fear of criticism, the fear of poverty, or something else? Once you realize those fears, work with them instead of against them.
Now think about the pleasures you will get from moving forward with your plans. Think of the successes you will achieve. See, smell, feel what that success will be like. Really get a good picture of it in your head. What does it look like? What does it feel like? The desire to obtain the pleasure of your success needs to be stronger than the desire to avoid the fear associated with moving ahead in life. Only then will you have consistent motivation and discipline to keep the momentum of your success going.

Discover Kim?s popular special report by visiting http://www.CereusWomen.comHow To Organize Your Office When Working From Home by Chandrasoma Perera
When you become your own boss and your home becomes your own business centre, your first priority will be to arrange a place to work as you need a business office.
Working from home-sweet-home will have many distractions, unless you plan and organize your working area so that you will love to be there and enjoy your work being free of stress.
Your office has to be arranged with focus on time saving methods that facilitate efficiency. This will enable you to have more time for your family. Because you will have more output from less time you spend in your organized business office.
For organizing a work from home office, certain principles of good house keeping are involved. To organize you can use 5S methodology that is time tested.
The 5S methodology was originated in Japan. It helps to systematically organize any work place or area of activity.
The significance of 5S principals are that they can be applied to areas big or small. The 5S principles are simple and effective. The 5S methods can be used to organize even a small unit of activity like your handbag or briefcase.
The 5S principles when practiced properly ensure 'a place for a thing and a thing in its place'. Wherever applied the 5S methods improve the beauty, efficiency and productivity of the place. In Japan 5S can be seen usefully applied in offices, kitchens, rooms, roads, gardens, homes, warehouses and big factories as well and such places are beautiful to look at from outside and inside too.
The 5S principles helps to reduce the space needed and maximize the speed of retrieval of files, tools, books or any item that you need for your work. This amazing system is called 5S because it uses five Japanese words all starting with the letter 'S'. Additionally, in Asian countries the number '5' is traditionally a very important number.
The inventive 5S methodology can be explained in brief as follows;
Step-01, SEIRI- Sort - To keep what is necessary only and discard what is not necessary.
Step-02, SEITON -Specify location - To locate what is found as necessary in proper places so that they can be picked up quickly and with minimum effort when needed.
3, SEISO -Clean/clear - To clean the work place regularly to be free of rubbish, be neat and tidy.
4, SEUKETSU - Cleanliness - To plan and make arrangements, s on best ways to maintain cleanliness.
5, SHITSUKI- Self discipline (Motivation) - To train and discipline every user of the work place on 5S procedures.
The practice of 5S starts with its first principle that is 'Seiri'. This involves sorting and identifying what is necessary and frequency of expected use and also things that will not be necessary at all.
During 'Seiri' you may come across many things small or big that has no purpose to be kept there. To do this properly you may need the participation of your home people too as team work always helps. You will be surprised to find items that will never be needed i.e. broken and not repairable items that can easily be discarded making extra space available.
The second 5S principle namely Seiton is to identify, sort, label or tag and index the items found to be necessary. This will make it easy for you to trace an item within a few seconds of looking for it. Any visual methods to identify such as using color codes, direction arrows or location indicators will be used. That will facilitate finding and picking up of any item from its location instantly. You can be innovative in doing this. You cam introduce your own coding or visual methods for easy identifying of items. Such visual attractive methods will enhance the beauty and the effectiveness of the arrangements.
The third S of 5S principles called Seiso is to ensure a clean and tidy place to work by cleaning, sweeping and dusting etc.
The fourth S of 5S principles referred to as Seuketsu involves the standardizing the maintenance of all arrangements set up in previous stages with set routines, schedules etc, to maintain the workplace clean and in the way it should be kept.
The fifth S of 5S that is Shitsuke means ensuring that 5S methods are clearly understood and practiced by every one involved, by means of continued training on 5S practice and self discipline.
The 5S principles help people to think analytically, with focus on efficiency. The practice of 5S leads to improved business performance as evident from Japan's industrial success.
Since the 5S methodology will make your home and your business office a pleasing environment, it will make you feel that home is where really the heart is.

By creating a vision larger than your fears and using the law of attraction , you are able to attract every opportunity that you want and whilst feeling motivated and energised to take the daily actions necessary to change your life.
Creating your vision.
1. Create a detailed story of your ideal life style . Write it in the present tense for example I am so happy now that I live with my partner or wife in a Victorian, 10 Bedroom Mansion with 2 reception rooms and 30 acres of land in Holland Park, London.
2. Ask yourself these questions to trigger your mind?
3. What will I have?
4. Where will I live, and with whom?
5. What Kind of house, cars and other material possessions will I have?
6. What will I do if money and time was no object?
7. What hobbies will I pursue?
8. Where would I travel to, and how will I travel?
9. How would my ideal day start and finish?
10. Who will I become? for example what qualities and characteristics have I developed?
11. What difference do I have on others lives?
12. What causes to I contribute to and how?
13. What Legacy will I leave behind?
14. If all your finances and day to day challenges are handled, what would you focus on?
15. How would you choose to spend the next 99 years of your life?
How to use the law of attraction and be inspired by your vision:
1. Read your vision aloud at least twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. ( Your subconscious mind is most receptive and programmable at these times)
2. Speak your vision to someone who is supportive and close, share non-personal parts of your vision to other positive people. (Its gives your vision life and sometimes inspires others to help create it)
3. Record your vision and play it on your MP3 player while you visualise it vividly (This allows you to focus deeply on visualising only instead of consciously thinking of what you need to visualise)
4. Make a treasure map which is a board with photos and pictures of your vision and goals, have your vision statement here also.
5. If reading your vision statement doesn't excite you to take action then modify it until it does.
You now have a powerful, compelling and motivational weapon which you can easily be used as a defence to stop procrastination and attract your ideal life. Eventually you will find that the urges to procastinate gets weaker over time.
